There's nothing quite like getting your hands on a new piece of art in my book! The feeling is incomparable!

Yesterday I met up with Solus , an artist I've worked with on a number of occasions in the past! He's been flying back and forth to New York City quite a lot and it's always very exciting to see an Irish artist do so well on the world stage! A lot of his work revolves around themes of succession, hope, uncertainty and a fighting spirit and this piece is no different.

A young man stares straight ahead at his coronation and the crown doesn't quite fit; it slides off his head and rests on his neck and shoulders where he will bear the responsibility of his enforced position before and until he is able to... I'm absolutely in love with this piece and chuffed to bring it home! I can't wait to get it framed and hung up on a wall!
