Reaching out my hand to shake yours, those were the first words I spoke to you. You smiled, looked me in the eye and replied...

I remember walking unsteadily along the street; the rain was pouring down and the cobbles were slippery with the wet. It was that time between daylight and dusk; when everything seems somewhat in-between. I turned into the alleyway, curiously searching for nothing and somehow finding what I was looking for.

Somewhere, somehow I think maybe we got lost in translation to ourselves. I have a hard time explaining who I am and what I do to myself, let alone others. Sometimes it is even more difficult speculating as to what other people think it is that I do... So here's a little transparency.

Dear Child,

It has been a long wait to meet you; seeing as we have known of your existence for a very long time. We had been expecting to meet you sometime next week but as we know and you will inevitably learn, life doesn't always go to plan.

The thing about Dublin is that there is always somewhere and something new to find and today on a random walk around town, I stumbled into a new gem, Meet me In The Morning.

Today is four years to the day I had the nerve to set up a little page for my shitty little photos. That page turned out to be Picture This! Dublin. Little did I know how my life would change... 

We are all guilty from time to time of getting caught in the madness that is the modern day city. The stresses, the pressures and the apathy are easy to let in but dastardly difficult to alleviate; this week however, Alex & Ani have come up with a day that will have you smiling (even for a few minutes)

It is in this moment of clarity, I am able to look in your eyes.

Instead of looking at you, and seeing right through you.

There's a certain amount of beauty to be found in the mundane of everyday living; it's there to be seen, if you're willing to look...

I think maybe I'm addicted to this feeling. This unique and mysterious; almost mystical feeling... of starting new journeys.
